The various proposed locations are:

● Papantla, Veracruz, “The City that Perfumes the World.” This magical place is located in the state of Veracruz and is the birthplace of vanilla, hence its slogan. It has 3 UNESCO recognitions for Human Cultural Heritage: one for the famous ritual of Los Voladores de Papantla; another for the archaeological zone of El Tajín; and the third for the Center for Indigenous Arts. During this trip, participants will immerse themselves in the world of the Totonaca Culture.

● Valladolid, Yucatán, is a magical town known as “The Pearl of the Eastern Maya”. It earned its  slogan for being located between important tourist cities such as Cancún and Mérida, and very close to the archaeological zone of Chichén Itzá, which is classified as one of the wonders of the modern world. Important events in Mexican history took place here such as the Caste War and the first attempt at the Mexican Revolution. Those attending this retreat will be able to take different workshops on the Mayan Culture.

● Tequisquiapan, Querétaro, “Place for Waters and Tequesquites”. Right in the center of Mexico, it is the hub for the National Fair of Cheese and Wine. This magical town is famous for its hot springs, colorful streets, and bustling wine culture. The participants of this wonderful retreat will be able to visit the opal mines, the cheese & wine museum, various local markets, and participate in various outdoor activities.

● Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, this magical town founded in 1733 received its name for being the first European settlement of the Mission of Santa Rosa de Todos Santos. This is the ideal place for those who enjoy surfing and learning more about Mexican culture. Participants will enjoy the history of the “Misiones”, the town’s cultural center, and the galleries of local and foreign artists.

● Bacalar, the “Seven Colors Lagoon”. The name means “the place of the reeds”. This magical town is ideal to relax and be in contact with nature. Participants will visit the Fort of San Felipe that preserves the history of the community.

Cost per person will depend on the location and total number of people.
